A huge thank you to everyone who helped make our Dino Day Family Fun Day a ROARING success! It was beautiful to see so many little dinosaurs making excellent use of an unusually muddy Seelaf Square to cook up some prehistoric feasts in our mud kitchen; enjoying the dino art and craft; exploring their scientific side searching for dinosaur bones; and making fabulous dinosaur badges! We were rapt to catch up with so many of our regular visitors and meet a bunch of new locals too!
A dinosaur-sized shout out to our AMAZING VOLUNTEER team who cooked up and served over 200 halal sausages; painted kids’ faces; worked on dino costumes; restocked the ball pits a million times; set up and packed down, and just generally brought the vibes! We love bringing the beautiful Angliss/Footscray community together to connect, play and get a bit creative. As always, so many great new friendships, conversations and opportunities to follow up on!
