We aim to provide accessible and inclusive community programs and events to foster healthy connections, intercultural understanding, and improve access to services, resources and support networks for local residents.
Angliss Neighbourhood House (ANH) is a community-managed, incorporated, not-for-profit organisation in the heart of Footscray. We operate on the unceded land of the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung and the Bunurong peoples of the Kulin Nation. We acknowledge and pay our respects to Elders past and present. Always was, always will be, Aboriginal Land.
ANH is managed and operated by a community-based committee of management for the benefit of the Angliss neighbourhood and surrounds. Established in 1991, we have over 25 years of experience providing inclusive education and meaningful community programs in Footscray. Our team is experienced in education, community development and early childhood development, and we have a small, dedicated and well supported group of locally-based volunteers. We aim to provide accessible and inclusive community programs and events to foster healthy connections, intercultural understanding, and improve access to services, resources and support networks for local residents.
ANH is situated within the City of Maribyrnong and receives support and funding from the Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions (formerly DJPR), Adult Community and Further Education Board (ACFE), the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH), and the City of Maribyrnong.
