It’s Children’s Week again! Come and celebrate with us, as we reflect on the importance of everyone knowing about children’s rights. This year the theme is that “children have the right to use their own language, celebrate their culture, and practice their religion” based on UNCRC Article 30.
Our free and fun events are about celebrating the language and cultural diversity in our community and acknowledging children’s contributions, passions, strengths and dreams! Come and join us as we gather our beautiful Angliss community together to connect, share and learn.
Monday October 26 @ 4pm: The art of language, a fun, interactive session where kids can make their own comic book in their language! Using visual storytelling we will celebrate and embrace the preservation of language and culture. For 5–12 year-olds.
Wednesday October 28 @ 11am: Move & Groove! Join us for some singing and dancing fun in this relaxed performing arts play session in Spanish and English. For 2-5 year-olds and their families. Wear comfortable clothing.
Saturday October 31, 11am – 2pm: Spooky Messy Play Day! Our now famous Messy Play Day is back with a spoooooky twist! Come down to Seelaf Square for loads of messy and active play, some spooky arts and crafts and a Free Sausage Sizzle! All ages welcome!
